Autumn Hues

 Style Not Age Challenge

Gail Hanlon from Is This Mutton in Autumn Hues: brown corduroy skirt and thrifted Paul Costelloe peach jacket

Dear friends.  The clocks have gone back and the weather is finally starting to feel a bit more autumnal.  Inspired by the season, Hilda has chosen Autumn Hues as the theme for this month's Style Not Age challenge.

I think of autumn hues being oranges, reds, greens and browns.  I based my outfit on a brown corduroy skirt (M&S, current) and added brown tights from Snag, a thrifted Paul Costelloe jacket and cream floral brogues from Joe Brown's, old.

In a nod to the leopard print trend, I'm wearing a belt and carrying a clutch in leopard.

Let's see how my style friends interpreted Autumn Hues.

Anna from Anna's Island Style is wearing a jacket and top from Vinted. Trousers, bag and boots are from her wardrobe.

Emma from Stylesplash is wearing a new jacket from Jenerique. Everything else is a few years old - shirt from Salamander Shirts, trousers from Marks and Spencer, Zara hat, bag and Guess sunglasses from TK Maxx.

Jacqui from Mummabstylish shopped her wardrobe for this elegant mix of shades: faux leather culottes, brown silk shirt and faux leather jacket in coffee and cream tones, mixed with suede brown boots and patent bag.

Hilda from Over the Hilda came up with this month's theme. She's wearing a gorgeous patterned coatigan and on trend leopard shoes, shopped from her wardrobe.
