#StyleNotAge Challenge
Dear friends. Linen. You either love it or hate it. This month the Style Not Age collective, five bloggers over the age of 50, are styling Anna's prompt, Lovely Linen.
I must confess I'm not a lover of linen. I can't remember when I last wore it. My style personality is gamine with a bit of classic, and the classic means I like things ironed. Linen, to my mind, gets too creased.
But it was an opportune time to experiment because after my Skiathos holiday I realised I need some more dresses: dresses which are timeless and can be worn year after year. I bought this blue linen dress from Boden.
I'm wearing it with red wedges, old, Sosandar, and blue sequin bag, old, Pure Collection. The scarf I tied to the bag adds more colour. It's the new spring colourway scarf from My Season Jewellery and Accessories.
Nothing was gifted for this post.
Let's see what the other ladies chose.
Hilda from Over the Hilda discovered this gem of a Whistles dress in her wardrobe, along with Clarks sandals and a bag she's had for a few years.
Emma from Stylesplash is wearing a linen mix co-ord from Damson Madder. She has just a couple of items in pure linen and couldn't find them (we've all been there!). Her lemon bag is by SkinnyDip London and sandals from Asos (old).
Anna from Anna's Island Style, whose prompt this is, found her dress on Vinted and customised it by adding pockets. The sandals are old, as is the jewellery.
I hope you enjoyed our linen choices. Do you love linen? Do tell in the comments.
