#StyleNotAge Challenge
Dear friends. This month four blogger friends and I am getting out our Festival Finery for this month's Style Not Age challenge.
I've actually been to a festival this month and am sharing the outfit I wore.
The BST Hyde Park events are now an annual fixture. There are several concerts with headliners including Stevie Nicks, Robbie Williams and Shania Twain.
I went to see headliner Kylie Minogue. A friend I met through blogging was my accomplice, Annemarie, who runs successful YouTube channel My Over 50s Life.
I'm wearing plenty of my trademark colour. There was the chance of a shower (didn't happen, fortunately) and I wore a jacket because it wasn't too hot that day.
My denim jacket, old, is from Amazon; scarf, new, in the Spring colourway from My Season Jewellery and Accessories. Shoes are from Embassy London and currently reduced; earrings and top, both old, from Kettlewell. Bag is by Fenella Smith and white chinos, old, are from M&S.
I meant to get a few more outfit photos at the event but somehow it didn't happen! We enjoyed Kylie, she had lots of dancers and special effects, and changed outfits five times. It was a happy dancing crowd. Kylie asked for requests and even performed some of her old hits "acapella." I hadn't realised she has such a good voice.
HOW MY BLOGGER FRIENDS STYLED FESTIVAL FINERY
Emma from Stylesplash, who came up with this prompt, is wearing a pink leopard print denim boiler suit that she bought in a charity shop (from NastyGal originally). Underneath she's wearing a T-shirt by Soul Sisters. Converse are from Vinted and bag from a shop in Funchal. The sunglasses are from eBay.
Hilda from Over the Hilda donned a hat from H&M and sunnies TK Maxx, both new. Everything else she found in her wardrobe.
Anna from Anna's Island Style has chosen a dress and shoes found on Vinted, as was the floral headband. Jewellery, sunglasses and handbag are all old. She's shown enjoying a local festival on the Isles of Scilly where she lives.
Jacqui from Mummabstylish is wearing a dress from Cotton Traders with a Fiorelli bag and espadrille sandals from New Look.
I hope you enjoyed our different festival looks. Have you been to a festival or outdoor concert recently? What did did you wear? Do tell in the comments.
