Bring Me Sunshine!

 #StyleNotAgeChallenge

Wearing yellow, orange and dark green Is This Mutton's Gail Hanlon

Dear friends. Another month has nearly ended and it's time for the Style Not Age Challenge, where 5 blogger friends over the age of 45 style an outfit based on a different prompt each time.

This month it was Emma's choice, and she came up with a great challenge, Bring Me Sunshine.  We certainly need some sunshine. I believe the weather has been "off" in most countries. It's still quite cold here, which dictated my outfit.

Sunshine makes me think of yellow and orange. I'm wearing a canary yellow hoody, teal v-neck and papaya scarf with a neon orange belt (current), all from Kettlewell. The jeggings are from M&S and the brogues from Embassy London. Socks are from Sockshop, current. They have a fabulous selection in colourful bamboo.

Bring Me Sunshine is the latest challenge for Is This Mutton's Gail Hanlon and four blogger friends. She is wearing yellow and orange with dark green

I can't wait to start wearing shorts and cropped trousers when the weather finally warms up. Not to mention my moto jackets on walks (see my collection).

The latest Style Not Age challenge sees Is This Mutton tackling Bring Me Sunshine with a dollop of orange and yellow in her outfit

Now let's see what my style friends came up with. Emma from Stylesplash, who dreamt up this month's challenge, has shopped her wardrobe for this lovely dress from Marks & Spencer.  She's added an orange crossbody bag bought in Madeira last year, blush pink wedge sandals from Coast and a beaded headband from Pia.

Hilda from Over the Hilda is wearing a top and trousers co-ord from Never Fully Dressed. She loves how easy it is to wear and how colourful it is. Mules are old from Clarks.

Anna from Anna's Island Style is wearing a pink trouser suit from Primark last summer. This is the first time she's worn it. The blouse is from Zara, last year, Elvis style belt is from Amazon and boots are from Deichman.

Jacqui from Mummabstylish has borrowed a dress from her daughter  and added nude shoes from Hotter, glass necklace from a trip to Venice, and orange Steve Madden bag.

I hope you enjoyed our Bring Me Sunshine outfits. Let's hope the weather takes some inspiration too. Don't forget to visit all the blogs to see more pictures.

  2. It seems like when the sun is out here, it's cold. And, when it's not out, it's colder! We have had such strange weather! Love this cheerful look on you, Gail! That pop of orange against the teal is gorgeous!
