And #WowOnWednesday
I went with a Meetup and unfortunately it was a bit of a rush through the lavender as we still had five and a half miles to go. I didn't even get chance to look in the shop - can you imagine!!
I asked someone else to take my picture and unfortunately they only took one photo (above) and my eyes are looking down, but at least it shows the lavender. My necklace needed turning over too - aargh. You can see it better in the picture near the bottom.
The most worrying thing is that we're off to Greece on Friday. I will be fully recovered by then but am worried that the hubster may succumb, given how virulent this version of Covid is. It would be terrible to have to cancel the holiday we've been waiting for for three years.
I'd already been thinking it would be a miracle if we actually get there, with all the problems at the airports with a shortage of baggage handlers, and flights being cancelled.
But I'm still living in hope and assuming we will be in Greece soon. I'm about to start my pre-packing routine.
I usually write some blog posts in advance and schedule them but thanks to Covid I only have one post ready, so there will probably not be a link-up next week. I'm sure you'll forgive me for one week.
The shorts above and in the lavender field are new from Roman. They're a great length. I'm wearing them with a teal v necked top - one of my favourite colours. I'm enjoying wearing my blues at the moment. I find I have periods where I'm constantly wearing one color, and then I switch to another. Do you have favourites which change every few months? Let me know in the comments.
Nothing was gifted for this post and no affiliate links used. I occasionally use links to make it easier for you to find what I'm writing about, but I'm not incentivised to do this. I prefer to keep Is This Mutton an optimum reading experience.
Oh dear, I really cross my fingers for you to go to Greece. Its scary that it's all around us again. I also have those periods when I wear one colour. And although the photo didn't turn out the way you had hoped, it still is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe lavender fields are fab, just 3 miles from me. Hope you get to Greece and enjoy your holiday.
ReplyDeleteThat lavender background is absolutely gorgeous. I just love how beautiful the area is and it’s so relaxing as well. Your entire outfit really suits you and has an unforgettable style.
