Casual Chic: Blazer, Jeans and White Blouse

 

Greetings all. The weather has been atrocious for the last fortnight, so when it started off sunny today I had to grab a few pictures. 

This is a "casual chic" outfit, ideal for when you're meeting a friend for shopping, or you just want to up your game going to the supermarket.

It's an over sized lilac blazer (now reduced) with M&S magic shaping jeans, a white broderie blouse and trainers. I love these shaping jeans - they've just come back into stock.  They aren't stiff and constricting as you might expect, and they look smart and well constructed.

There's a pot of pale blue camassias beside me (left). Have you ever grown them?  It was my first time. I planted them along with the other bulbs in autumn and had no idea what to expect.  I was less than overwhelmed, but I think they'd look better in greater numbers in the border.  The problem is that when it's time to plant bulbs, it's often difficult to disrupt the border when it's in full late summer bloom.
