I've noticed quite a few bloggers and Instagrammers talking about being drawn to bright colors this fall/winter. What do you think?
I'm predicting a bad winter this year in terms of snow and cold weather. Two reasons. Firstly, Texas is likely to get snow this week, very early, and we tend to get whatever the US is having, a few weeks later. Also, it was a mast autumn, when the trees and hedgerows mysteriously co-ordinate to provide a bumper harvest of seeds, berries, conkers and acorns. Surely a harbinger. I don't mind the prospect of snow - extra cosy if you're indoors anyway! And fun for the kids.
I'm back on Friday with the October edition of Friday Favourites: TV, book and podcast recommendations. See you then.
Last week's readers' favourites (most clicked) were Jess, from Elegantly Dressed and Stylish, with her post Neutrals and Faux Leather, and Shauna from Lipgloss and Lace with her post Make it Mini.
My favourite was Montreal styling diva Lucy with her sensational animal print melange in her Fabulous Friday’s Linkup Party post.
Okay, wel a real winter wouldn't be that bad indeed! Not going anywhere for a while here. Our restaurants probably stay closed until December, perhaps until next year if we don't stick to the rules. And most Dutchies don't!!! That certainly is a contrast! But a lovely one. Have a great day Gail.
