I was idly browsing new arrivals to embellish my "latest fashion picks" Pinterest board, when this delightful white bouclé jacket from River Island stopped me in my tracks. I love a bouclé jacket because they look so elegant and Chanel-like when worn with pearls and a skirt, but they also go brilliantly with jeans.
I paired my jacket with some polka dots in the form of a pretty across-the-body bag, black-and-white slingback shoes, both from Miss Selfridge, and a British tweed skirt from Boden.
You may notice a bit of sparkle on the tights. Fashionistas have already ditched their tights but with news of another Siberian blast due to hit the UK over Easter, I won't be losing mine any time soon. Opaque tights would look too wintry but these black sparkle tights were ideal.
The jacket has "pearl" buttons so I used a couple of chunky pearl necklaces.
