Statement duster coat and summer dress

Perfect for spring or summer weddings, a statement duster coat worn with a floral dress.
If you need some wedding outfit inspiration, and you're nervous about UK summer weather (it's pouring with rain as I write this), you could do no better than this beautiful ivory duster coat, which looks sensational with a patterned summer dress.
The coat will give you that extra layer when you're in a cold church, and looks more contemporary than a pashmina or cardigan.

And you can lose it once the dancing starts!
The coat, by Helene Berman London, is reduced from £189 to £125 at Asos. I love the drama it has, and the statement sleeves.

I partnered it with a fairly simple pink sleeveless cotton summer dress from BonmarchĂ©* (sold out). The dress is a simple design but gives a good shape. I used white accessories: a white bow bag from Asos (pold out), white perspex heeled sandals (Marks and Spencer past season) and large faux pearls.

  3. I think a statement covering is essential!! There are so many places that the A/C is too cold or the weather is unpredictable!
    You look fabulous Gail!

    1. Agree with you Jodie - particularly as our weather can't decide if it's coming or going!

  4. Thank you ladies - it is a beaut, my only fear is that statement sleeves may disappear without trace in a couple of months so it could be very old-hat by next year.
