The bluebells were at their peak following last weekend's sunshine. Beautiful. You could smell the sweet fragrance before you approached.
I kept it simple, wearing my new pin-tucked white blouse with fancy buttons from Peter Hahn, and Cambridge ankle skimmer jeans from Boden. The gold accessories, Marks and Spencer's "everywear" mules and a sequin bag I've had forever, gave some glamour to the look.
Peter Hahn may not be a brand you're familiar with. It's a German company and they have a UK website. They have a lot of brands that are new to us, and it isn't cheap, but there are some real finds, particularly if you're lusting after a particular colour.
Here's a close-up of the button detail. I'm always looking for a fitted white shirt that can be dressed up and down. I suspect this one is an ideal partner to a Bavarian dirndl, but what the heck? It's apparently great for travelling because it doesn't need ironing.
